Q: Is 402ink the home of Dan the T-shirt Man? A: Sure is! Dan Okelberry founded 402ink in the summer of 2015 and it has been growing ever since! Dan was previously with Shirts101 in Lincoln, NE from 2001-2015 and now manages custom apparel orders (screen printing and embroidery) with his new company 402ink.

Q: Do you do more than just t-shirts? A: Absolutely! Although we specialize in custom printed t-shirts, we can help with many other items. We regularly manage orders of hats, water bottles, sunglasses, koozies, buttons, stickers and many other items. Send us a description or image of the product you would like and we will let you know how we can help!

Q: How does the pricing work? A: There are many variables that go into the pricing of custom printed and embroidered apparel. The three main factors that play in are the quantity of items, brand and style of item and the complexity of design and print colors used. Our goal is to provide the best design and products that will fit within your budget. We can provide general pricing information if you fill out our start a new order form.

Q: Is there a minimum order quantity? A: In order to balance the cost of shirts, printing, design time, and in some cases shipping, we require a minimum order of 24 for screen printed apparel. With an order less than 24, the cost per shirt can become unreasonable. 

Q: How long do orders take? A: Once we have finalized your products, quantities, and designs, there is a two week turn around period. It is best to start a new order 3-4 weeks before you need the finished shirts to allow for design time and revisions.

Q: What do I do if I need my items faster?A: In many cases we can have the order done before two weeks. Each order will be different and may be subject to a rush charge. Please email hello@402ink.com if you need an order sooner than 2 weeks.

Q: How do I pick a design for my order? A: 402ink has creative graphic designers that can customize just about any design to fit your needs. You can also head to our design gallery or Pinterest and look at a few examples. If you see something you like, let us know and we can mock up a similar design custom to your order.

Q: Can I return these items if something's wrong with them? A: 402ink prides itself on excellent customer service. Most items are custom made to order and therefore exchanges or returns can be difficult. If we made a mistake, we'll own up to it and get it fixed ASAP. If for some reason you're unsatisfied with the way the products turned out, let us know within 7 days and we'll do our best to find a solution.
